Neostrata products contain AHAs, PHAs and Bionic PHAs. When embarking on a skincare regimen using Neostrata products it is important, to avoid or lessen the possibility of an adverse reaction, to start using the milder Bionic or PHA ranges. Once these products have been used for a number or weeks, depending on your skin’s requirements the higher strength AHA formulations should be tolerated by your skin.
Normal and Combination Skin
Morning and Night: Cleanse withNeostrata Facial Cleanser or following previous use with this cleanser Foaming Glycolic Wash to wash away any dirt and makeup. Next treat the skin with Bionic Face Serum.
Morning: Before moisturising use Bionic Eye Cream and wait for 10 minutes to allow the product to absorb into the delicate eye area. Moisturise with a Neostrata daytime product containing SPF15 or use a Neostrata moisturiser (in combination with a sunscreen such as Elemis Liquid Layer Sunblock SPF30). Choose from either Oil Free Lotion SPF15, Daytime Protection Cream SPF15 or following previous use with either of these products Ultra Smoothing Cream (in combination with a sunscreen such as Elemis Liquid Layer Sunblock SPF30).
Evening: Before moisturising use Bionic Eye Cream and wait for 10 minutes to allow the product to absorb into the delicate eye area. Then choose from Ultra Moisturising Face Cream, Bionic Face Cream, or following previous use with either of these products Ultra Smoothing Cream. Renewal Cream is recommended for those with non-sensitive, more severe sun-damaged and/or pigmented skin. For all over body hydration use Glycolic Body Lotion.
Sensitive Skin
Neostrata formulations are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. PHAs including gluconolactone have been clinically proven to help those who suffer from rosacea and atopic dermatitis and can help the effects of medications.
Morning and Night: Cleanse with Neostrata Facial Cleanser to prepate the skin for the next Neostrata product by helping attain the ideal pH level.
Morning: Before moisturising use Bionic Eye Cream and wait for 10 minutes to allow the product to absorb into the delicate eye area. Moisturise with Daytime Protection Cream SPF15.
Evening: Before moisturising use Bionic Eye Cream and wait for 10 minutes to allow the product to absorb into the delicate eye area. Then use Ultra Moisturising Face Cream or Bionic Face Cream. For all over body moisturisation use Glycolic Body Lotion.
Ageing Skin
The NeoStrata Skin Active system is made up of four high-performance products, each formulated to deliver outstanding rejuvenating effects, including significant improvement in the appearance of deep wrinkles, crow’s feet, sagging and uneven pigmentation. The following regimen is recommended following gradual introduction of products as stated here.
Morning and Night: Wash face with Skin Active Exfoliating Wash, to prepare the skin for optimal treatment benefitsThis soap-free foaming cleanser effectively removes oil and makeup without irritation.
Morning: Before moisturising use Skin Active Intensive Eye Therapy and wait for 10 minutes to allow the product to absorb into the delicate eye area. Moisturise with Skin Active Matrix Support SPF20
Evening: Before moisturising use Skin Active Intensive Eye Therapy and wait for 10 minutes to allow the product to absorb into the delicate eye area. Then use Skin Active Cellular Restoration Night.
Oily and Acne Prone Skin
Neostrata products combine AHAs with additional exfoliating technology and proven oil reducing ingredients to help fight acne, control oil and reduce the appearance of acne scarring.
Morning and Night: Cleanse with Neoceuticals Clarifying Cleanser or following previous use of this product Foaming Glycolic Wash to remove excess oil and traces of dirt. Next, apply Oily Skin Solution an AHA astringent solution that removes excess oils on the skin. If moisturisation is required Sheer Hydration SPF15 can be used.
When required: Neoceuticals Spot Treatment Gel can be used on specific blemishes. For excessively oil skin, use Oil Control Gel, which is formulated to mattify and gently exfoliate the skin.
Extremely Dry Skin
Dry skin tends to be more fragile and reactive. Bionic PHA products are ideal formulations to help hydrate dry and dehydrated skin and are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Morning and Night: Cleanse with Facial Cleanser.
Morning: Before moisturising use Bionic Eye Cream and wait for 10 minutes to allow the product to absorb into the delicate eye area. Protect your skin with Daytime Protection Cream SPF15.
Evening: Before moisturising use Bionic Eye Cream and wait for 10 minutes to allow the product to absorb into the delicate eye area. Then use Bionic Face Cream.
For the body Glycolic Body Lotion can be used. The Neoceuticals Problem Dry Skin Treatment will improve unusual dryness, rough texture and extreme flaking and scaling.
Dark Spots/Pigmentation
The use of Neostrata products has been clinically proven to improve the appearance of pigmentation and dark spots on the skin. It is important when attempting to improve pigmentation problems that when using the Neostrata product regimen that best suits your skin type you make sure that your chosen daytime moisturiser either contains an SPF or that you use a sunscreen such as Elemis Liquid Layer Sunblock SPF30 in combination with your daily moisturiser. For those that have a high level of sun exposure a sunscreen such as Elemis Liquid Layer Sunblock SPF30 should be used in combination with even the moisturisers that contain an SPF for added protection.
As well as using the Neostrata products that best suit your skin type Neostrata Pigment Lightening Gel should be used twice daily after cleanser and before appliation of your moisturiser.
